Redact PDF Online
Redact PDF lets you black out text in a PDF and permanently remove private information before you share it. Draw black boxes over anything you want hidden, or use Find and redact to cover every occurrence of a name, account number, email address or ID across all pages at once.
Unlike simply drawing a black shape in an editor, the redacted pages are rebuilt as images with the boxes burned in, so the hidden content can't be copied, searched or uncovered later. Pages without redactions are kept as they are, with selectable text, so the rest of the document stays usable.
Typical uses include removing personal data from documents before sending them to a lawyer or landlord, hiding bank details in statements, censoring names in reports and complying with privacy requests. Because the redaction happens in your browser, the unredacted file is never uploaded to a server.
