How to use this chart

Find your exam, then open its resizer. The KB range, dimensions and format are already set, so you only upload your photo and download the result. For a form that isn't listed, the Photo Resizer for Exams takes any KB range and size. If your upload keeps failing, read why exam photos get rejected.

Frequently asked questions

Are these the official photo sizes?
They are taken from the most recent official notifications of each exam. Rules can change from one year or exam cycle to the next, so always check the notification for your exam before you upload.
Which file format do exam forms accept?
Almost every Indian exam and government form asks for JPG (JPEG) files for the photo and signature. Some also accept PDF for documents such as certificates or declarations.
What does 3.5 cm × 4.5 cm mean in pixels?
It depends on the resolution. At 200 DPI, 3.5 cm × 4.5 cm is 276 × 354 pixels. The exam resizers on this site create the exact pixel size and save the resolution in the file, so the photo measures correctly in centimetres too.
How do I make my photo the right size?
Open the resizer for your exam from the chart, upload your photo and download the result. The size in KB, the dimensions and the format are all set for you, and the photo is processed on your device without being uploaded.
