Add Name and Date on Photo Online

Some application forms ask for a photo with the candidate's name and the date the photo was taken printed below the face. This tool adds both in a clean white strip under your photo, in clear black text sized to fit.

It starts with a 3.5 cm × 4.5 cm photo between 20 and 50 KB, the most common rule. Click Change to use the size from your notification. Type your name, check the date (today's date is filled in for you), and download the JPG.

The same option is available on every exam page on this site: open the page for your exam and turn on Add name & date.

How to resize your photo with name and date

    Pick what to upload

    Choose the tab for the photo with name and date you need. The required size is shown above the upload box.

    Choose a photo from your phone or computer, drag it in, or paste it. JPG, PNG and WebP all work.

    Adjust the framing

    Crop to fill the exact size and move the position slider, or add a white border to keep the whole image.

    Check that the size, dimensions and format are all ticked, then download the file and upload it to the form.

It depends on the notification, and rules change over time. Some exam and job applications ask for it, most don't. Only add it if your notification asks for it.
