PAN Card Photo Resizer

Online PAN applications on the Protean (NSDL) portal ask for a colour photo of 3.5 cm × 2.5 cm and a signature of 2 cm × 4.5 cm, both as JPG files scanned at 200 DPI and no bigger than 50 KB.

This page produces exactly that: a 197 × 276 px photo and a 354 × 157 px signature, with 200 DPI saved in the file so they measure the right size in centimetres.

Rules on other portals can differ, so check the instructions on the site you are applying through. Click Change if you need different numbers.

How to resize your PAN card photo and signature

The signature must be 2 cm × 4.5 cm at 200 DPI, as a JPG of up to 50 KB. The Signature tab makes a 354 × 157 px file that meets this.

Click Change above the upload box and type the size range and dimensions from your notification. The tool then makes a JPG that meets those numbers instead. Always check the latest official notification before you upload, because rules can change between years.
